Camp Hope 2024

We’re ready to kick off our 2024 Camp Season! Are you? We are confident this year will be full of God’s love and unforgettable experiences together as we help each child realize that they are loved, valued and created for purpose!

“The impact that Camp Hope has made on my kids has been huge. It created memories for them that are going to last a lifetime. They see that there is truly people out there that love unconditionally and that are willing to pour into them. It gave them a sense of community. Their whole outlook on life itself has changed since camp. It has given them a sense purpose. ”

– Jessica M., The Joseph Center

Valley To Mountaintop Camp

VTM is the first camp our campers get to experience. Kids 8 to 13 years of age join us for a mixture of day camps and one overnight camp.

This camp is 100% free, with included transportation and food. Each camper is provided with their own trusted adult, as we keep a 1:1 camper to staff ratio.

There are a total of 3 camp camps. The days camps typically follow a Monday, Wednesday, Monday schedule. Each of these days, Camp Hope will meet families in Grand Junction at a predetermined pickup location to pick up campers and then take them to and from camp. After camp for the day is finished, Camp Hope will return to the pickup location to return campers to their families.

There is one overnight camp included with VTM, that includes two nights and three days. The overnight camp typically is scheduled for the Thursday – Saturday. Families are invited to join us Saturday at camp to pick up their campers and enjoy a celebration lunch, or can pick up their camper at the pickup/drop off location.

The first Valley To Mountaintop camp is typically scheduled in June, but check our calendar each year to see when and how many different Valley To Mountaintop camps may be available each year.

Please Note:

By registering your camper, your camper is not guaranteed a spot at camp this.

Camp Hope keeps a 1:1 ratio between campers and volunteers, and so we only have limited availability for campers. Once we know how many spots we have for campers this year, we will contact you to let you know if your camper will be able to attend camp and which camp(s) they are invited to attend this year. Pre-registering your camper helps us to know how many volunteers we need each year.

If your camper is invited to attend VTM after registration, you will need to commit to having your camper attend all 6 days of the camp (including the overnight) so as not to take another camper’s spot who could have otherwise attended the full camp.

During Valley To Mountaintop, our campers get to enjoy activities such as swimming, arts & crafts, team building exercises, opportunities to make lifelong friendships, great food and endless bacon!

This camp operates on a first come first serve basis, so register your camper today!
